Snake

It's not a Boa, and it's a good thing it didn't bite you, although it suck dog balls that you killed him...and I'm not talking about toys, here. It's a Copperhead(Agkistrodon controtrix), which IS venomous, and while not deadly(not to humans, anyway), a bite will certainly ruin your week(Been There, Done That). Still, snakes only bite in self-defense, and most people who are bitten are asking for it by trying to kill or handle the snake...78% of them, in fact, so the best way to avoid snake bite is NOT to kill the snake! It would have only been too happy to move on its way and put as much distance between itself and the big two-legged giant killer ape it had encountered. If someone posted a photo of a wolf, a mountain lion, or a bear on here, that they'd encountered, and then posted "I had to kill it", people would be outraged. It's just as absurd to kill a vemomous snake, which is just as much a part of nature, a predator that has the capability of harming humans just like the others, and yet the brains of most people have failed to evolve past the Dark Ages when it comes to reptiles. Leave 'em alone if you don't like them!
